Katherine Margaret "Katie" Hyde

Katherine (Katie) Margaret (Meyer) Hyde, Volo, Illinois, died on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 23, 1966 to Stephen and Teresa (Thilmany) Meyer. Katherine married Noel A. Hyde on October 16, 1993.

Katherine is survived by her husband Noel "Tony" Hyde, father Stephen Meyer, son Stephen, daughter Nicole (Alison), sister Michele Meyer-Burck (Matt), brother Dennis Meyer, nephew John (Claudia) Shadel. Mother-in law Karen Hyde and sister-in-law Wendy Carlson.

Katherine was employed as an administrative assistant at Complete Markets Equity in Lake Zurich for many years until her retirement. Katherine attended Wheeling High School.

Katie loved nature and her cats and dogs. Her pets were her "babies". She was strong in her ideas and she was an avid Democrat.

Per Katherine's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Remembrance Service will be Friday, April 3, 5:45 PM with visitation from 5:00-8:00PM before and after the service at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, 31632 N. Ellis Drive, Suite 209, Volo, Illinois. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to PAWS for Pets or st. jude's hospital for Children or donor's choice.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Teresa Meyer and father- law Noel C. Hyde
