Katherine (Kathi) Lynn Dooley

Kathi was such a loving person. She truly made me feel loved. She welcomed everyone into her arms.
I truly miss her. I met her in an exercise class about 20 years ago then we saw each other at church and were friends after that. She was such a sweet person. I still remember her here with us. Until we meet again.

Kathi was the first born of my older sister and "best friend". I guess it was only natural upon Henrietta's passing that she would refer to me as "mom-2", and I loved it.

I think the thing that most struck me as a "lost art" these days, was the time and love she showed and spent with all her grandchildren. She gave them each her undivided attention for a day, a weekend, a week and sometimes more. She so loved those little ones and always made time for them!!

Next to that, was the many ways Kathi gave of herself to her Church family. She was involved in so many groups!

Kathi generously opened her Port-A condo to her mom's sisters, her aunts, every year for a weekend getaway, rent free.

She enjoyed family and we enjoyed her!

She was so beautiful, and like her mother didn't complain.

We will all miss her so very much!

I knew Kathi for many years as my hygienist. She was super sweet and always interested in her patient's lives. I have kept up with her on FB but haven't seen or spoken with her for awhile. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. It was a joy to have know her.

Kathi was a great person at heart, always with a smile. I remember the day Sean brought her home to meet the family. Always kind words to say. She will be missed, and leaves behind a loving family. Love to the family, Terri Watkins (Seans sister).'

I have lost a good friend and will be forever greatful for the time we shared together at Dr Bond's and outside the office. You will be truly missed but I know that I will see you again. Heaven has gained another angel.

My deepest condolences. I worked with Kathy for a summer at Dr Bond's and she made a lifetime impression on me. She was always happy and filled the room with laughter.

I was so fortunate to share just a minor portion of Kathi's beautiful live. Sean, Erin, and Ian what a blessing she is to all of us. I have a million memories. Good food, laughter, music, "Island Time", and her entire family embracing me. These are the things in life that will never rust or corrode. Peace to all.

Deacon Sean and family...there are not enough words in our language to express how important Kathi was to us all. Her joyous love of the Lord was an example for us all..she truly was Christ in our midst. Thank you Deacon Sean, for sharing her with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, as you transition to having her only in your heart. I know she is in heaven interceding with the Lord on all of our behalf's. What a wonderful new angel we have in heaven!

I will miss your infectious laugh at a family gathering and will be reminded of you whenever I hear one cry out. I will miss the acceptance that was a hallmark of your life and have a larger family because of it. I will miss your always positive outlook and can only hope to live up to a portion of it. But most of all - I will miss your hugs. You always put down everything you were doing or drinking and held me like the family you said I was. The angels have a rookie all-star. Love you and miss you.

The one thing I will remember about Kathi is the great hugger that she was. Always held you tight and her embrace was genuine. She was truly a child of God. Kathi, I will miss you, but will be always open to your Spirit.

My childhood starts with Kathi and her family. Erin was my best friend growing up. I too was a Brat, so Kathi knew what it was like to move around. She always made me feel welcome and at home, no matter where life had taken me. I will always remember her loving spirit, her smile that would light up a room, and her infectious laugh. She will be missed by many.

Sean, Chuck, Scott, Erin, Ian and all Grandchildren, thank you for sharing your beautiful wife, sister, mother and grandmother with me. Kathi inspired me to become the woman I am today. Kathi has to be one of the strongest women that God created. Her smile just feels your heart with happiness. We are all sad right now but we will see her again. My Daddy is in heaven and I know Kathi is telling him all about me. I love the Dooley family very much. Rest In Peace my girlfriend.
