Katherine Louise Lloyd

Katherine Louise Lloyd, 69, of Aurora, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Katherine is survived by her children, Dolores (Eugene) Solana and Thomas Albert Lloyd III; grandchildren, Vincent, Mateo, November, Phoenix, Calypso, Tyler, Thomas, Thalia, Ty, Thalia Allende, Desaray, Treasure, Taylor and Chris; siblings, Frances, Arnold, Carl and Anna.

Katherine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Albert Lloyd Jr.; parents, Marshall and Dolores Forrest and brother, Larry Forrest.

Katherine loved spending her time reading romance novels. On a nice, quiet day with no interruptions she would often get a whole book read. If someone did need to interrupt they better have made sure it was not during a good part or they would have to wait until she finished that segment to get her attention. As someone who appreciated anything that smelled good, Katherine always enjoyed nice smelling perfumes and flowers. She also had an interest in history. The history of monarchies were what intrigued her the most. She loved learning about kings and queens.

Katherine will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A burial of ashes will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 10:00am at Riverside Cemetery, 414 North River Street, Montgomery, IL 60538.
