Katherine F Millay

Katherine Frances Millay, 72, of Augusta, Maine, Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28th, 2025. She was born on February 18, 1953, the daughter of Oscar and Paticia Braley of Falmouth, Maine.

Katherine grew up on the family farm in Falmouth, where she learned the value of hard work and found her love for animals. She was also a woman of resilience and kindness. She attended and graduated from Falmouth high school. Throughout her life, she cherished warm summer days and found joy in crafting, painting and collecting antiques.

She spent her career in bookkeeping and secretarial work, dedicating her life to every role she held. Her most recent and most treasured position was with F.E. Peaslee Trucking and Logging, where she found not only a job she loved, but a second family who meant the world to her.

Katherine was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Thelma Braley; and her daughter, Liza Bragg. She is survived by her sister, Judy Bullock and her family in Idaho; her son, Jeremy Glasier, and his wife Monica Glasier; six grandchildren-Alyson Graffam, Karigan Glasier, Logan Odone, Brenna Odone, Kerstin Mitchell and Connor Bragg; and four great-grandchildren-Weston Graffam, Liza Bragg, Levi Mitchell and Leroy Mitchell. She also leaves behind her cousin Janice Walker who was a life long friend, and several nieces and nephews.

A special heartfelt thank-you goes to another life long friend of over 50 years, Sharon Cleaves of Windham, Maine, who stood by Katherine through all of life's ups and downs.
