Katherine L. Vena

Katherine L. Vena, 61, of Vineland, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. She was born to the late Charles E. Johnson and Carrie L. Williams Johnson in Bridgeton. She had been the wife to Richard G. Vena for the past 35 years.
Katherine retired from Century Savings Bank in Upper Deerfield Twp. in June of 2021 after 30 years in customer service. She loved and lived at the beach in Ocean City, NJ, loved to shop, go tanning, getting her hair and nails done, and most importantly spending time with her family and her dog. She adored her grandson Kaleb and loved spending time with him. She was an Eagles fan and an avid Phillies fan and didn't miss watching a game, even if she had to watch it from her phone. She also enjoyed going to the movie theatre with her daughter.
She is survived by; husband, Richard G. Vena; daughter, Nicole Rodriguez (Michael); grandson, Kaleb; siblings, Pam Soma and Debbie Mick; mother in-law, Judy Bown; sisters in-law, Theresa Vena, Judy Vena and Sue Vena; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by; parents, Charles and Carrie Johnson; brothers in-law, Mike Vena and Al Vena; and her father in-law, Albert Vena.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8th at 11 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the service. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park, 794 Shiloh Pike, following the service.
