Katheryn Louise Blair Leach, age 69, of Morehead, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at her residence.
Born March 31, 1955, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of late Charles Blair and Lola Stamper Tackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, who raised her, Artie and Luther Stamper; one daughter, Tonya Goodpaster; and one sister, Mary Jo Blair.
Katheryn is survived by one son, Robert Shane Goodpaster; one daughter, Gretchen Fraley (Mark), all of Morehead; five grandchildren, Nathan Fraley, Amanda Howard, Markayla Fraley, Nikota Goodpaster, and Katelyn Goodpaster; and two great grandchildren, Gabriel Hall and Ashton Frei.
Other survivors include two brothers, Charlie Blair of Columbus, Ohio, and Robert Askins of Moorman, Kentucky; four sisters, Rhonda Blair of Ormond Beach, Florida, Angie Blair of Fayetteville, Kristina Wilson of Loveland, Ohio, and Sherry Lynn Kerns of Morgan County; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family and friends.
Katheryn was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved reading, working with her flowers, and home decorating. Most of all, she loved her family. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Daniel Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Clearfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Nikota Goodpaster, Amanda Howard, Shane Goodpaster, Markayla Frei, Darrin Shelton, Joshua Sorrell, Nathan Fraley, and Travis Caldwell.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
