Kathi S. Hines
After a long and courageous battle with stage 4 cancer, our beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend Kathi Hines passed away on January 13th, at home surrounded by her family and love.
She was married to the love of her life, Paul Hanly, and was a devoted mom to her three sons, Ethan (Jill), Aidan, and Eoin Hanly, who were her proudest accomplishments and greatest joys. She is also survived by her siblings, Lisa Hines and Kim (Otis) Warner, who shared a lifetime of memories and laughter with her.
She firmly believed that tall fences made good neighbors, and she lived her life with that philosophy. She kept a tight circle, but if you were lucky enough to be inside it, you were loved deeply, loyally, and without question. Her home, her heart, and her sense of humor were reserved for those she cherished most, and she gave generously to them all.
Known for her wit, strength, and unshakable resilience, she faced life’s challenges, especially her illness, with grace, determination, and moments of well-timed humor. Even in the hardest moments, she found ways to make others laugh, feel seen, and feel cared for.
She will be remembered for her sharp mind, warm heart, fierce love for her family, and the quiet way she showed up for those she loved. Her absence leaves an immeasurable space, but her spirit lives on in the stories, laughter, and love she shared with us all.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
