Kathie Mae (Watts) Eichenberger, 71, of Port Royal passed away at her home surrounded by her family on May 9, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.
Born March 4,1953 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Robert "Bob" and Betty (Walters) Watts.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Eichenberger, whom she married on April 16, 2016, one son, Bryan Wills, one daughter, Emily (Wills) Book and husband, Gabe, of Port Royal, two granddaughters, Amelia and Nora whom she adored with all her heart, one sister, Robin Smith, and husband Kent of Reedsville, along with four nieces and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by two sisters, Patty Varner, BJ Doray, and an infant brother.
She graduated from Juniata High School in 1971 and earned her Associate degree in Medical Transcription from the Thompson Institute in 1973. She was employed by Polyclinic Medical Center, Dr. Bacon's Office, Lewistown Hospital, Dr. Recalde's Office, and retired from Lewistown Family Practice.
She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Mifflintown where she served as a Deacon and Trustee.
In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she had an unwavering faith in God. Kathie enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband, and decorating her home for the different seasons. She also enjoyed sewing and created many unique pieces that she loved gifting to her family. Kathie treasured babysitting her two granddaughters which brought her the utmost joy.
As per Kathie's request, there will be no public services. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life and legacy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Kathie to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Westminster Presbyterian Church, 208 Lemon St., Mifflintown, PA, 17059.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.

The first memory I have of Kathie, was when we were playing together, about 3 years old. She was my cousin closest in age, and I followed her lead as we were growing up. We have remained close all our years, and I will truly miss her until we meet again. My condolences to her family!
