Mrs. Kathie Popick, age 86 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born May 20, 1939, in Canton, Ohio, daughter of the late Jewel Judson Wallace and the late Norma McBee.
She retired from the Cobb County Government where she worked in the accounting department and was of the Baptist faith. She loved being at home and taking care of her husband who preceded her in death. Kathie's favorite pastime was putting puzzles together and watching her favorite soap, "The Young and the Restless". She had a deep love for her family and grandchildren, and a special love for her dog, Luna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy A. Popick on March 30, 2024; a daughter, Kay Lynn Halter Brown; son, Michael David Halter; great-grandson, Corin Conklin; brother, Jewel Ray Wallace; and a sister and brother-in-law, Elsie Marie Wallace Nelson (Henry).
Survivors include three daughters, Veronica Halter Martin (Andy), Cindy Halter, and Trina Popick Wheeler (Craig); son, Joseph Popick; sister, Jeannie Wallace Merrill; ten grandchildren, Nick Neice, Janice (Andy) Zale, Andy (Haley) Martin, Jr., Erin (Benjamin) Conklin, Shelly (Chris) Ellis, Dylan (Morgan) Halter, Sr., Bailey (Patrick) Sanders, Joe Popick, Michael (Sadie) Brown and Lindsey (Seth) Hicks; twelve great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn Ellis, Bryson Ellis, Brendan Zale, Raegan Zale, Drew Zale, Jacob Zale, Kinsley Neice, Dylan Halter, Jr., Lucy Halter, Blakely Sanders, Piper Sanders and James Conklin.
No formal services are planned at this time.
