Kathleen (Kathy) Maude Whitfield was born in Auburn, NE, on March 22, 1928. She was the youngest of four children, Helen May, Corinne, and Jack of William Sterling and Etta Rene Whitfield of Peru, NE
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; and by husbands, Richard Hutton and Charles Arenz; and son, David Arenz.
She is survived by daughter, Susan Smith (Mark); granddaughter, Emily Goodwin (William); great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Isabelle Goodwin; great-grandson, Thomas Goodwin; grandson, David Smith (Shelly); great-grandsons, Luke and Arthur Smith; and great-granddaughter, Rose Smith, all of Omaha. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, church and life-long friends; and her wonderful caregiver and friend, Bev Marino.
VISITATION: Friday, December 12th, 10 a.m., at West Center Chapel, with a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow in the West Center Chapel Community Room.
Memorials are suggested to Little White Dog Rescue or The Salvation Army.
