Kathleen Mae Arnett, age 83, of Saugatuck passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, after an 8-year battle with dementia. Her family was at her bedside.

Born to Clyde and Marion Lyman of Pullman on August 31st, 1942, in South Haven. Surviving are her daughters Lesa (Tim) Williams of Fennville, Colleen Wininger of Colorado Springs and Melonie of Saugatuck, a stepdaughter Debbie (Jerry) Borden of Bangor. Her sister Linda Nelson of Jackson. 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Kathy was a 1960 graduate of Fennville High School. She retired from Herman Miller in 2001. She took a ride home in a limo with her husband, daughters, and friends, celebrating with wine and champagne.

Kathy and Jerry Arnett were married on January 1, 2000. They enjoyed a great life of traveling and living in the woods. They put many miles on their BMW motorcycle. Kathy had 75,000 miles on the back of that bike; she wore a heated suit. She loved to ride. She had visited all 50 states at one time or another, not only on the bike. Their favorite trips were to Hawaii; they had visited 6 times.

She was a great wife and mother; she made their house a home and she will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers please send any contributions to Hospice of Holland, 270 Hoover Avenue, Holland, MI 49423.

A very special thanks to Deanna and Sydney, Dr. Stid, and chaplain Jim Daniels.
