Kathleen Beckstrand

Kathleen Rae (Eli) Beckstrand, 71 of Delano, MN. died Friday, March 20, 2026 at Abbott North Western Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born September 2, 1954 in Minneapolis the daughter of Vallard Donald and Annabelle (Look) Eli. She grew up and graduated from Hill City High School and earned her Associates Degree. She had many jobs including being a cook and working at the Social Security office. She enjoyed gardening, canning, smoking a few cigs., being out-doors, spending time with her family and her dog Molly. She was a wife, mom, grandma, sister, auntie and friend. She shared a life full of love with her husband Bob Beckstrand of Delano; Son Russell (Deb) Fenstermaker of Aitkin; Daughters: Amy Thacker of Aitkin and Laurel; Grandchildren: Sarah (Joel) Fundersol of Florida, David (Ashley) Fenstermaker of Indiana, Eleri Leigh Eli of Canada, Star Thacker of Aitkin; Sisters: Donna (Dave) McLaughlin of Spring Valley, Helen James of Lakeland, FL., Cheryl "Bryan" Beneke of Tamarack, Jo Anderson of Titusville, FL., Sue (Steve) Schmit of Nowthen, Barb Majerus of Rogers, Becky Gowell of Vadnais Heights; Sister-in-law Amelia Obyrn of Delano; Uncles: Harry (Colleen) Look of New Hope, James (Carol) Look of Ft. Myers, FL.; Many other special relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
