Kathleen M. Canole, 71, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at Garvey Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. She was born on June 19, 1954, in Altoona, daughter of the late Owen and Gertrude A. (Dudas) Canole. Surviving is her sister, Deborah A. Canole, sister-in-law, Sally Canole, nephew, Matthew K. (Taylor) Canole and niece, Rachel H. Canole. Also surviving are her great niece; Claire Canole, great nephew; Bruin Canole, and her ex-husband; Michael J. Spielvogle. Kathleen was preceded in death by her two brothers: O. Kevin Canole and Conan P. “Skat” Canole. Kathleen worked for 41 years as a Court Liaison Officer for the City of Altoona from 1973 until her retirement in 2014. She was a 1972 graduate of Altoona Area High School and member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed her dogs. A memorial funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Altoona. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
