Kathleen Connolly

Kathleen Connolly, 82, formerly of Johnson City, joined her husband Edward in Heaven on April 7, 2025. Kathleen was the daughter of the late Erwin Clapper and Helen (Hollister) Clapper Decker. She is survived by her beloved family; her children Timothy (Kari) Connolly, Tammy (Joseph) Borrelli, Tracy (Mark) Majewski and Theodore (Brandi) Connolly; six grandchildren, Amber (Kyle) Sisenstein, Ashley Connolly, Kathleen Borrelli, Shane Majewski, Samantha Majewski and Sydney Majewski; two great-grandchildren Alex Sisenstein and Dorothy Sisenstein; her siblings, Isabelle Itterly, Debbie Heberling, Ada Lynch and Douglas Clapper; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sisters Marlene Donnelly and Diane O'Brien Dillenbeck.
Kathy was a member of St. James Church in Johnson City and a retiree of Rehabilitation Services Inc. (RSI). She enjoyed spending time at the St. Lawrence River, with her husband and in-laws Kay and Marsh Smith. Family was everything to Kathy. She loved her family dearly, and especially enjoyed spending time attending all of her grandchildren's school musical and athletic activities. She missed her late husband Edward deeply and it is a comfort to her family to know they are together again.
Kathy's family extends their deepest appreciation for the compassionate and loving care they provided to their mother by the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Friday April 11, 2025 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango Street Binghamton, NY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 pm until the time of the service.
