Kathleen Marie Dahl, affectionately known as Kathy, was a beloved wife, mother, Grammy, and a remarkable realtor. Born on March 7, 1958 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Kathy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication. She was always known as the life of the party with her passion for family, travel, and life resonating through all that she did.
Kathy’s journey came to a peaceful close on September 21, 2024 in Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. Her family recalls her nurturing spirit, her unwavering support, and the light she brought into their lives. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Dahl, whom she married May 26, 1979; her devoted son, Brad Dahl, and his wife, Mandy of Sacramento, California; her precious grandson Dennen of Sacramento, California; as well as her cherished daughter, Ashley Dahl of New York, New York.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Arland Peterson and Nancy Lee Peterson, as well as her dear sisters, Judy and Susan. She is survived by her sister Patty Netwal (husband Paul) and Stephanie Peterson (husband Corey Stauffeneker).
As friends and family gather to honor her memory, the visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM, followed by a short Ceremony at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A in Taylor Mill, KY. It is a time to share stories, reflect on the indelible mark Kathy has left upon everyone who knew her, and celebrate a life so beautifully lived. Family and friends are invited to Brianza Gardens and Winery in Crittendon, KY after the memorial service from 5 PM to 7 PM to celebrate the good times that Kathy would so often have. Please avoid wearing black; this is a celebration of Kathy’s life, and we want to reflect her vibrant spirit.
Though Kathy may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those she loved and her legacy will continue through the wonderful family she leaves behind.
