Kathleen Patricia Graham

Kathleen "Kathie" Graham, 80, of Colorado Springs passed away peacefully at Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care after a long battle with interstitial lung disease. Kathie was born May 12, 1945, in Lynn, MA to Stanley and Barbara Walker. As the daughter of an Army serviceman, Kathie moved many times throughout her childhood. Once settled in Colorado, Kathie proclaimed Colorado Springs "her town", Pikes Peak "her mountain" and she vowed to never move again.

Kathie worked at Mountain Bell where she met her future husband Harold Thomas "Pinkie" Graham. They were married October 22, 1966, and raised two daughters, Debra and Patricia. Although Tom predeceased her in 2013, Kathie remained in her home for 58 years. She loved her neighbors, her neighborhood, and her community.

Kathie was a long-time employee with Colorado Springs School District 11, working within the food service program. She started in 1977, found her calling, and retired 28 years later in 2005 as kitchen manager at Sabin Middle School.

Following retirement, Kathie and Tom spent many memorable days fishing and touring CO. She also enjoyed volunteering with local organizations, sharing her time with Faith Presbyterian Church, Pikes Peak Humane Society, The Place, Horace Mann Middle School, and School Districts 2 and 3. However, the BEST times were shared with her grandchildren.

Kathie is survived by siblings, Barb Brown, Sue Sulley, and Ted Walker, daughters, Debra Kwiatkowski (Robert J), Trish Robinson (Andy), grandchildren, Josh Robinson, Mackenzie Kwiatkowski, Robert M Kwiatkowski, and Amber Kwiatkowski.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026, 11:00 a.m., Faith Presbyterian Church, 1529 N. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathie's honor to Faith Presbyterian Church.
