Kathleen Hughes Obituary
Born in Boston, a daughter of the late James and Adrienne (Fahey) Hughes,
Kathy attended Weymouth Public Schools and graduated from St. Coletta's Day School in Braintree.
Loving sister of Daniel Hughes and his longtime companion Evelyn Lopez of Weymouth, James "Jim" Hughes and his wife, Margaret "Peggy", of Bridgewater, and Christopher Hughes of Weymouth.
Beloved aunt to Sean Hughes, Brian Hughes and his wife, Theresa, Connor Hughes and his wife, Cori, and Erin Hughes. Great aunt to Callie, Nova, Stella, and Jack.
Kathy is also survived by several cousins, aunts and uncles, and her loving godmother and cousin Helen Benson of Milton. Kathy also leaves behind many lifelong friends at Road to Responsibility.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Kathy's memory may be made to The Special Olympics of Massachusetts.
