Bountiful, UT -Kathleen Jones passed away March 22, 2023, in Bountiful, Utah. She was born in Moab, Utah on February 27, 1937, to Eugene and Bethel Watts Allred. She spent her childhood in Monticello, Utah with her older sister Sara and many Allred cousins. She moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah when her father took a job with Geneva Steel during World War II. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and spent time at the University of Utah and then went to work for Mountain Bell as an operator and later a manager. She married Lawrence Paul Jones of Monroe, Utah and they were together for 60 years raising their two children Gena and Nathan. Kathy is survived by her children Gena Jones and Nathan Jones and her husband Paul; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Sara and grandchild Jacob. Kathy requested no funeral services and that she be cremated. The family wants to express its sincere appreciation to Suncrest Hospice and Barton Creek Assisted Living. Funeral Directors: Russon Mortuary & Crematory
