Kathleen A. "Kathy" King

Kathleen A. "Kathy" King, age 66, of Middletown, DE, and formerly of Hackensack, NJ, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

Born in Bronx, NY, on February 2, 1956, Kathleen was a daughter of the late Peter and Anne Marie (Snow) Brady. Kathy was an easy-going personality who always found comfort in her surroundings. Kathy enjoyed many interests, whether it was her amazingly lucky trips to Atlantic City, her penchant for gardening or her love of all animals – most of all her devoted dog Finnegan. Kathy loved life – she loved cooking for her friends and family and most of all, she loved making memories with her dear grandchildren. Kathy was a force in this life whose absence cannot be replaced, but whose presence enriched all of our lives, and whose memory sustains us through this loss.

Kathy retired from Staples as a contract manager after 30 years of dedicated service. She is survived by: her beloved husband, Wayne L. King; her loving children, Anne Marie Ivory (Timothy) of Middletown, Matthew King (Aimee) of Moorestown, NJ and Casey Ann King of Port Charlotte, FL; her grandchildren, Carter Ivory, Grayson Ivory, Seamus King, and Emma King; and siblings, Mike Brady of Colorado and Donna Brady of Pennsylvania.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE 19709 where a Memorial Service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
