Born on November 8, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, Kathy brought an infectious spirit and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beacon of light in her community, dedicating her life to helping those around her.
Kathy's legacy is one of unwavering compassion and relentless support, as she passionately served her community in Pecan Gap, Texas. Her charitable endeavors were numerous; she founded the food pantry at Pecan Gap Methodist Church, a testament to her generous heart and desire to alleviate hunger. She worked tirelessly to raise funds for the Fannindel FFA, the Pecan Gap Community Center, and the Pecan Gap Volunteer Fire Department, showcasing her dedication to improving the lives of her neighbors and fostering a sense of unity and strength within the community.
As a devout member of the United Methodist Women’s Auxiliary, Kathy found solace and purpose in her faith and friendships forged through shared service. Additionally, she proudly held the title of life member of the VFW Lady’s Auxiliary, where she honored the sacrifices of those who served.
Kathy's accomplishments extended beyond her charitable work. She poured love into her family, cherishing the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Each family member carries a piece of her love and spirit, ensuring her legacy endures through generations.
Though she will be profoundly missed, Kathy now joins those who passed before her: her cherished daughter Sherry June Davis, her devoted parents Betty Mae Symoniak Andrews and Dalton Ruppert Andrews, and her brother Dalton Andrews. They await her arrival with open arms.
