Kathleen Ann Martin, born on June 18, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, transitioned peacefully on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. She was surrounded by her loving family, who cherished her deeply.
Kathleen devoted her career to the food service industry, notably working as a waitress and chambermaid at the Lambertville Station Restaurant and Hotel. Her dedication and warmth made her a beloved figure in her workplace, often bringing smiles and kindness to those she served.
An avid fan of music, Kathleen held a special fondness for Elvis Presley, whose tunes would often fill her home with joy and nostalgia.
Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ott of Easton, PA, Lisa Vargas of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Renee White of East Amwell, NJ, who carry on her legacy of love and strength. She was a doting grandmother to Heather Vargas of Lopatcong, NJ, Dave Vargas jr. of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Jason Sharp of Easton, PA, Marissa Ott of Easton, PA, and Vincent Albano of East Amwell Township,NJ, and 6 great grandchildren who were the light of her life. A niece and 2 nephews . She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Dahlem of South Hampton, NJ.
Kathleen was predeceased by her grandchildren Laura Vargas and Amy Vargas, her sister Geraldine Brown, and son-in-law, Armond Carmen Ott.
As we reflect on Kathleen's life, we remember a woman of great heart, dedication, and warmth. She leaves behind a lasting impact on her family and friends, and her spirit will undoubtedly continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
