Kathleen M. McDevitt (nee Lynch) on October 1, 2025 of Deptford. Age 65. Beloved wife of James P. McDevitt. Loving mother of Jimmy McDevitt of Deptford and Julia McDevitt of Westville. Cherished sister of Madelin Fanz of Pine Hill, Patricia Feriozzi of West Deptford, and Edward Lynch of Brooklawn. Kathy had a joyful spirit and a heart that touched everyone who knew her. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures from scrapbooking cherished memories, enjoying trips with her friends, singing Elvis songs with her daughter, relaxing on the beach, and cheering on her beloved Phillies. At home, she poured her love into her family, always treasuring time with her husband, children, and her two dogs (Lulu and Ozzie) who brought her endless joy. Kathy's dedication extended beyond her home and into her community. She was a proud supporter of Deptford High School, where she served as President of the Band Parents Association. Her tireless commitment as a volunteer for both the Marching and Jazz Band made a lasting impact, and she became a second mom to many of the students, always encouraging their talents and celebrating their successes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 6pm to 9pm in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096 AND on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 10am to 11am at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St, Mantua Township, NJ 08051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11am at the church. Interment Private.
