I was a Red Hat with Kathy for probably 10 years. She came into the group through her friendship with Dee who named her "Chatty Kathy" (We all have nicknames.), AND Kathy could be depended on to be chatty, rain or shine. Her favorite Chinese dish was coconut shrimp. and she always ordered extra sauce.
After Rick passed away, she stayed busy maintaining the house and the little blue BMW. She told me last month that she felt like she was running a business out of the house there was so much to do. Mind you she was not complaining. She never did. There was always a smile on her face. We will all miss that smile.
