Kathleen Mielock

Katie Mielock was probably the wisest woman I knew. I still remember sitting in Panera at 16 Mile & Rochester Road during a difficult season of life, and she gave me a nugget of wisdom that I have shared often with younger women. Jean would frequently share things her Mom would say and I joked about keeping a journal of "Mielock-ism's" that I will cherish forever. She was so proud of all her kids, and raised one of the finest, classiest, kindest, most thoughtful group of grown kids I've ever known. What an amazing woman she was! And left a legacy instilling so much of herself in each one of you, and you have ALL been a gift to me in so many ways. Thanks for sharing your Mom with so many of us. Love all of you - Rita MacDonald
