I went to grade school with Kathy at St. Benedict and she also lived down the street from me, before her family moved. She was a sweet girl and we played together often and her parents even took me to the show with them at times. They never knew how much that meant to me. I was surprised to find, she also chose to go to Mercy Academy for high school, so we actually graduated together. I recently reached out to her, through Facebook, but I never got to talk to her. I was saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family that is left behind, but who can be rejoined some day. Praying for their peace.
