Kathleen Neary

Goodbye old friend :( Kathy was my upstairs neighbor in the early 1980s in Memphis & despite our age difference we fast became good friends. I'll never forget the day she called me with absolute terror in her voice, utterly panicked. I rushed up to her apartment (unsure what was happening) to find her standing up on the countertop & pointing to the not-so-big spider in the bathtub. I removed my sandal and with one swift swat, her nightmare was over. Bless her heart. :)
Kathy was a fine person of good morals, a brave woman, certainly a force. We both relocated & lost touch over the years, but I've thought of her often & recall fondly the years our paths crossed. Rest in Perfect Peace, dear Kathy.
