Brigid Sullivan Ripley
October 7, 2025
My heartfelt condolences go out to my sister Kathleen's family. She had such zest for life, such courage, and such determination that was, and will continue to be an inspiration! No matter what troubles she faced or what challenges she conquered, she did so with humor and wit. She had an amazing ability to find (and share) laugher in the most unexpected places and circumstances!
Every time I go for a walk in the woods, hop on a bike, climb into a canoe or kayak, strap on a pair of skis or ice skates, or take a ride on my trusty steed, I know I will feel her presence. She was instrumental in surprising me with my very first pony, Domino, when I was five years old. She led me out to the back yard, where Domino stood with a huge red bow around his neck! She helped me learn how to ride, and over the years, with her story-telling and French lessons, inspired my love of reading, mysteries and languages. Her love and laughter, her "joie de vivre" and her commitment to family - the Sullivan family . the Thompson family and extended family- were unequaled! Mere words just can't do her justice. I love you and I miss you so much!
