Kathleen P. Turnes

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, Kathleen P. Turnes on May 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving children. Kathleen, 76, was born on June 25,1946 to the late Harold and Mary Ellen Putman of Johnstown, NY.
Kathy graduated from Albany Medical School as a registered nurse and helped bring babies into this world for over 40 years, working in the Albany Medical Hospital and Cathy Berry and Associates OBGYN office in Syracuse, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George K. Turnes. She is survived by her loving children, Gregory Turnes, Christine (Samuel) Dana, Karen Altman and Mary Ellen (Richard) Hunt; grandchildren, Ethan, Noah and Lilian Dana, Keiler Altman, Alexandra, Austin and Andie Jo Hunt; great grandchild, Octavia Rose Dana; and many loving extended family members and close friends.
Kathy was a very kind and loving mother who showered us all with her love in many ways. She was the happiest spending time with her grand babies and bringing laughter and joy into their hearts.
Nana, you will be forever missed!
