Kathleen Ullman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brunswick Funeral Service - Shallotte on Feb. 28, 2025.
Kathleen Eva Ullman, 75, of Ocean Isle Beach died February 23, 2025. A daughter of the late Warren and Juanita Giba Roderick, she was born on February 28, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio.
Kathy graduated Canfield High School and Boston University with an English Major. She managed two Caldwell Banker Offices in New Jersey, winning several National Awards for Real Estate Brokerage.
She and her husband, Bruce Fadem, were joined in matrimony on May 26, 2000, on the third deck of their home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and marsh in perhaps Sunset Beach's highest wedding.
She was a devoted mother to Lara and Ericka; loving grandmother to Zack and Serenity; and sister to Marilyn.

To our dear cousin Marilyn and the families. We´re still so saddened by Kathy´s passing, but know she´s looking down with relief from her illness. Such a precious person.

Such a precious cousin. I remember visiting Youngstown and going on hikes with Kathy and all of us cousins, laughing and playing before going back for Sloppy Joes. Kathy came to the prom at my high school accompanying my brother Rod and for the after party gave me the prettiest pair of shorts to wear after admiring them on her. She was always so soft spoken and sweet. Fred and I pray for peace and strength for the family as Kathy passes to her heavenly home. God bless you all.
