Although it has been nearly a year since her passing, I was not certain that she had passed until now. I was a friend of Kathleen when she was about to go into her senior year at RHS. I actually dated Kathleen a few times in the early sixties, about the time I entered the service. She was one of the finest people I ever knew, I am sure her loss is great for her family members. She was a great friend for me during that time, in many ways I still miss her. I often walked her home in the afternoon after school all the way down to Hatherly. I still remember her and think of her often, I was blessed to have known her. If you wish to contact me, I can be found on facebook easily.

My sincerest sympathies to all of Kathy's family especially Michelle and Janice. I met you when Kathy was in Brockton Hospital. I worked with Kathy at cable tv. She and I really enjoyed each other's company even though we had TOTALLY Opposite political views! She and I both had the same Black Irish sense of humor. We could get in trouble together without much effort! She was a wonderful, kind and generous person. I wish I had your addresses to send you a personal card. I'm proud to say she used a couple of recipes I gave her at Bridgewater COA. I'm sure you all have wonderful memories and you will always carry her with you in your heart!

Oh dear God. Michelle I am so very, very sorry. This is terrible news. I identify so much with you ~ my mother is 80 and she's my best friend and beyond. I don't know what I will do without her. I'm so sorry for you and I know it will be unbelievably hard for you...you are lucky to have had a mother like her and to have that special closeness that not everyone is blessed with in their lives. I'm glad for her that it was peaceful, at home, and with her doggies...that is what we would wish if and when it is time. However, I know that this is devastating for you and my heart breaks. Sending my love. I wish I could give you a big hug. I know you have a deep faith, and know that God is with you during this terrible time, and that your mother will always be with you and watching over you. I truly believe this.
With all my love, Karen

We will sincerely miss Kathy. I know I will miss Kathy dearly. She always had a smile, a joke and a cool hat or earrings. She was a bright light and a wonderful woman. God Bless
