Kathleen M Whited

Kathleen M. Whited, born on November 19, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed peacefully on March 26, 2026, in Lake City, Florida, at the age of 76. A cherished sister and a dedicated professional, Kathleen leaves behind a profound legacy that will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Kathleen was a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree and spent many fulfilling years in the airline industry as a reservationist with American Airlines. Her warm personality and exceptional service made journeys for countless travelers a pleasant experience.

She is survived by her beloved sisters, Mary Ann Gross, Katheryn Moore and brother David Gentry who will carry Kathleen's memory in their hearts forever. She will also be remembered by many close friends.

A graveside service will be held in honor of Kathleen on April 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Forest Meadows Cemetery East, located on SE Hawthorne Road in Gainesville, Florida. Friends and family are invited to gather to share in the memories of a life well-lived, as they pay their final respects and celebrate Kathleen's enduring loving spirit.
