Kathleen Cecile "Kathy" Wood

Kathleen "Kathy" Cecile Wood, 79, of Captain Cook, Hawaii, passed away on November 23, 2025, at home. She was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota and was a retired Computer Programmer for Mitsubishi Electronics and a parishioner, eucharistic minister and docent of St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Honaunau, a member of the Kona Coffee Farmers Association, docent at both the Hulihee Palace and the Sadie Seymour Botanical Gardens in Kailua-Kona, as well as a member of the St. Maryanne's Ministries. Church services will be held at a later date. She is survived by her stepson, Merle "Chip" (Caren) Hidinger-Wood of Midlothian, VA; sister, Mary (Donald) Bray of Payson, AZ; brother, Michael (Kathy) Stednitz of San Marcos, CA; 2 granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Denis Stednitz and James Stednitz.
