Kathleen F. Wright

Kathleen Frances Wright, 88, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday September 15, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 19, 1937 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late John and Mary (Conway) Lennon.

Kathleen is predeceased by Charles Wright, her loving husband of fifty (50) years. She raised her family in Melrose, MA and worked at Melrose Wakefield Hospital for more than 30 years. She loved her home state of New York, particularly summer family vacations at Rockaway Beach. She relished taking time to be with her grandchildren and attending their school/sports/parades/plays/music events as much as possible. She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed visiting casinos and watched Jeopardy nightly. For many years, she and her brother Tommy had a standing monthly phone call that both of them treasured, and neither would ever miss.

Kathleen is survived by three daughters: Laureen Wright-Aldrich and spouse Kenrick, Colleen Thomas, and Margaret Pensavalli and spouse Michael, as well as her three sons: Charles Wright and spouse Renee, Sean Wright and spouse Jaynemarie, and Robert Wright and spouse Nancy. Kathleen had ten grandchildren - Renee, Danny, Joey, Ryan (and fiancée Amanda), Erin, Jillian, Abby (and spouse Andrew), Kiera, Tara, and Bridget - as well as two great-granddaughters Natalie and Amelia. She is also survived by her brother Thomas Lennon and his wife Mary Ann, many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by siblings Ann Rempel, John Lennon and Barbara Reilly.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. The funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home. The burial will be Tuesday at 2:00pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH.
