Kathleen A. Zelner, 84 of Carmel, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023. Kathleen was born October 8, 1939 in Detroit, MI to the late David R. and Helen G. Moorhouse.
Kathleen was a media specialist in the library at Mohawk Trails Elementary School for over 30 years. After retirement, she volunteered in the children’s department at the Carmel Clay Library.
Kathleen was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and was also a volunteer at the church.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 4780 E. 126th St., Carmel, IN 46033. A gathering time for family and friends will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. “Bob” Zelner. She is survived by her children, Mark (wife, Kit) Zelner, David M. (wife, Michelle) Zelner and Susan K. (husband, Michael) Halterman; grandchildren, Sharon Zelner, Amanda (husband, Daniel) Miller, Chad and Carson Zelner, April and Christine Halterman; great grandchild, Taylor Hinson.
