In Loving Memory of Kathryn (Kathy) S. Cerbone
December 30, 1938 - June 11, 2025
With profound love and deep sorrow, we share the passing of Kathy Cerbone into the hands of God at the age of 86.
Kathy was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Nora LaRose, her sister Victoria D'Angelo, and far too many beloved friends and family.
Kathy was a devoted wife to her husband of 61 years, Joseph Cerbone. She was the proud mother to Edward (Carol-Anne) and Dwayne (Noreen). Her grandchildren Aaron, Stephen, Nicholas, Anthony, and Maria brightened her life with their laughter and love.
Kathy was raised in North Bergen, NJ. After getting married, Joe and Kathy purchased their first home in Roosevelt, NY. They then built a beautiful home in Ronkonkoma, NY where they raised their two sons. Retirement brought them first to Rochester, NY and Lawrenceville, GA and then finally to their home in Peachtree Corners, GA.
Kathy loved to cook large traditional Italian meals for family and friends. She treasured lavishing gifts on those she cared for, bragging about the exploits of her sons and grandchildren, and bridging distance by talking regularly with friends and family.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday June 21, 2025.
