CHMILEWSKI-PINE, Kathryn Christine – A member of Garden River First Nation has passed away in Ottawa on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the age of 28. Loving daughter of Marie Powell and the late Kevin Pine. Cherished daughter of the late Mike Chmilewski. Granddaughter of Marie Powell and the late George Powell, Joanne and Charlie Pine, and the late Mary and the late Larion. Sister of Ashley Chmilewski (Raymond), Mikey Chmilewski (Crystal), Brittany Chmilewski (Scott), Brandon Saunders, Bradley Saunders (Maggie), Brayden Saunders (Pheonex), Bryce Saunders, Zackary Powell, Tanner Powell and Leigha Powell. Aunt to Charghle Chmilewski, Sophia, Ashton Saunders and Lyric Saunders. Niece of the late Mitchel Pine, Linda Pine, Thomas Pine (Theresa), Karen Pine, Sonny Chmilewski, Walter Chmilewski, Carl Chmilewski (Lorna), Tom Chmilewski, Neil Powell (Lise), Gary Powell (Judy), Bobby Powell and Mark Powell (Danelle). Cousin of the late Curtis Pine, Ronnie Pine, Jason Pine, Malachi Littledeer, Joanna Pine, Chyanne Pine, late Walter Duggan, Coletan Agawa, Chastity Agawa, Keirsten Agawa, Anung Agawa, Derek Chmilewski, Jason Chmilewski, Kyle Chmilewski, Scott Chmilewski, Justin Powell, Adam Powell, Sam Powell and Ashley Powell. Kathryn will be missed by many friends. Friends are invited to visit at the Garden River Community Centre on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11 am until time of service Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 am.
