Kathryn F. Codding, age 78, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. Born in Eustis, Florida, she was a proud lifelong resident of the Sunshine State. Kathy graduated from Eustis High School in 1965, where she had the honor of serving as her class Homecoming Queen.
In her youth, she was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and, later, the Order of the Eastern Star. Before her retirement in 2001, Kathy worked as the Office Manager at Codding's Sand and Soil, the family's land clearing and site work business. Kathy spent the last 25 years dedicated solely to her family. She relished moments shared with friends and family and was always a gracious hostess. She loved her time on the water fishing and boating or by the pool soaking up the sun and tending to her flowers. Kathy was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time in the woods at the cabin with her husband, Donnie.
Kathy is lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Donald L. Codding, and their two children, Brian (Annette) Codding and Jill (Kevin Roach) Codding. She was a cherished grandmother to her two grandchildren, Caleb (Kyeann) Codding and Seth Codding.
A graveside service to honor her life will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 (Tunnel to Towers Foundation).
The family invites you to sign the online guestbook at www.hardenpauli.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida.
