Obituary of Kathryn E. D'Orazio
Obituary for Kathryn E. D'Orazio
October 23, 1942 – October 19, 2025
Kathryn E. D'Orazio, 82, of Collegeville, PA, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, just days shy of her 83rd birthday, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 23, 1942, Kathryn lived a life defined by deep faith, unwavering devotion to her family, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew her. She was the beloved wife of Michael D'Orazio, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.
Kathryn was a devoted mother to her daughter Karen (D'Orazio) Miscavage and her husband Daniel Miscavage, as well as son Christopher D'Orazio and his girlfriend Nicole Ferraro.
She cherished her role as a grandmother to her three grandsons-Kyden Heffline, and Andrew and John Miscavage-who brought her endless joy and pride. She also was a valued member of the Spring-Ford Middle school staff for 10 years where she was an instructional assistant in the Special Education department.
She will be remembered for her loving heart, her steadfast support of those she held dear, and her gentle grace. Her legacy of compassion and faith will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.
A funeral service will be held at St. James' Episcopal Church on Thursday October 23 at 11 AM, with a burial immediately after. The family will receive visitors from 9:30 to 11 AM at St. James. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kathryn's memory to St James Outreach House 3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426, honoring her lifelong commitment to faith and family.
Arrangements are being handled by the R. Strunk Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.rstrunkfuneralhome.com
