Kathryn Rose Hendricks

Kathryn Rose Hendricks, 75, of Boaz, died on April 28, 2024, at The Richland Hospital. She was born on September 15, 1948, in Richland Center, the daughter of Melvin and Harriet (Batzer) Frank. After graduating high school Kathryn attended UW-Richland for two years and graduated from UW- Platteville with a bachelor's degree. Kathryn married Sam Hendricks on October 20, 2001, in Boaz. Together they enjoyed going for rides on the motorcycle, trips to the mountain, weekend road trips, and sitting outside on the back porch.
Kathryn is survived by her husband Sam; son: Derek Starke of Clearwater, FL; siblings: Cherie Serio, Jackie (Tom) Rogahn, Bob (Tara) Frank; many nieces, and nephews.
Sam brought extended family into Kathryn's life including Jennifer (Jason) Gillett, Matthew Hendricks; siblings: Sue Benford, Steve Hendricks, Sally (Ken) Auz, Stanley Hendricks, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Special friends: Jan Kypke, Nancy Perkins, Fuzz and Nancy McCauley,
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and mother-in-law Audrey Hendricks, sisters Cindy and Virginia.
A private service will be held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center with a burial to be held in the Dayton Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in Kathryn's name may be directed to Schmitt Woodland Hills – Harriet Reese. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
