Kathryn S. Reiner, age 97, of Schwaben Creek Road, Leck Kill, died January 1, 2024.
She was born on October 21, 1926 in Greenbrier, Northumberland County, the daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Runkle) Snyder.
Kathryn was the widow of Paul Reiner.
She was a devoted Wife and Mom, gardener, farmer and green house worker.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Leck Kill.
She enjoyed major league baseball, especially the New York Yankees and spending time doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her two children, Dean R. (Dianna) Reiner, Dornsife and Carol Pontius, Bloomsburg; Brothers, Edward Snyder , Millersburg and Samuel (Pat) Snyder, Valley View; Sister, Leah Shade, Rebuck; Grandchildren, Denise (Fred) Ream, Sterling, PA, Darryn (Sherry) Reiner, East Cameron, Valerie (James) Coleman, Mifflinville, Keren (Jeff) Clark, Mansfield, and Great Granddaughter, Cori (Scott) Brandt, Mesa, AZ
Kathryn was also preceded in death by her siblings, Vernon, Daniel, Joseph, Wellington, Crystal Reiner, Shirley Kauffman, Bernice Rothermel, and Evelyn Masser.
There was a visitation held at her church on Monday, Jan. 8, from 9:30-10 a.m. Services started at 10 a.m. There were no graveside services, but burial was in the church graveyard.
In lieu of flowers , Kathryn requested donations be made to her church, St. John's Lutheran Church, 4330 Schwaben Creek Road, Leck Kill, PA 17836
