Kathryn was a standout basketball player in her youth, known for her determination and competitive spirit. Later in life, she returned to her high school to share her knowledge and experience, coaching alongside her husband and continuing her lifelong love of the game. She cherished her time on the court and valued the opportunity to contribute to the school and sport that had meant so much to her.

In addition to her love of basketball, Kathryn had a lifelong passion for horses and enjoyed showing and training Hunter Jumper Quarter Horses, earning numerous awards and trophies throughout her years of competition. She was also an avid and accomplished golfer, earning the title of City Women's Amateur Champion and winning numerous tournaments throughout the state. The golf course was yet another place where her competitive drive and love of the game were evident.

Kathryn will be remembered for her determination, competitive spirit, and the many friendships she formed through her lifelong passions.
