Kathy Ann Askew of Snohomish, WA, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 13, 2020 in Stanwood, WA, as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident.  Kathy was born November 3, 1958, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to parents Robert C. and Betty (Gartrell) Watson.  The family moved to Washington in 1964 and Kathy graduated from Interlake High School in 1977.  In 1985 she married Mick Askew, the love of her life, and in 1994 they had a son together, Sam, who was her pride and joy. Kathy was gifted and artistic and brought beauty to everything she created.  She was a hard worker, a great listener, a thoughtful gift-giver and always remembered the special little details about people.
