HARTFORD – Kathy Rhea Calvert, 69, of Hartford passed away February 10th, 2026 at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born in East Chicago on March 1st, 1956 to Winston Ray and Ruby Addington Evans.
Kathy was a graduate of Brescia University and Western Kentucky University where she obtained her Rank I. She taught and retired from Ohio County Schools. She began attending Beaver Dam Church of Christ at the age of 6, and obeyed the gospel at age 14.
She is preceded in death by her father, Winston Ray Evans.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Randy Calvert; children, Janae (Micah) Mohon, Jarren (Josh) Decker and Grant (Courtney) Calvert; 7 grandchildren; mother, Ruby Addington Evans; sisters, Lydonna (Jimi) Harris and Pam (Terry) Renfrow; along with nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, February 13th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Mike Thomas presiding. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 12th, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
