Kathy H. Cho

Kathy H. Cho, age 58, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
Born in Seoul, Korea on September 19, 1967, she was the daughter of Sun H. (Hong) Cho, of Tewksbury and the late Michael S. Cho.
Kathy grew up in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1985. After graduation, she attended the University of Lowell (U. Mass-Lowell).
For the past 20 years, she has been employed by the Spring Manufacturing Company, where she worked as a machinist.
In her spare time, she enjoyed the companionship of her dogs. In addition, she was an accomplished artist especially in the discipline of drawing as well as a talented floral designer.
In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her two children, Zakaria S. Zahiri and Karima Z. Zahiri. She also leaves two brothers, several nieces and nephews, many extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends will be received Sunday, November 16th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Private burial of her ashes will be at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to Tewksbury Community Pantry at www.tewksburypantry.org
