Kathy Deis

DEIS, Kathleen "Kathy" age 67, passed away Monday, February 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lillian Bach, husband, Jerry Deis and infant son, Jeffrey Joseph Deis. Kathy is survived by her daughter Jenny (Paul) Bowell, grandchildren: Alexis & Abbey Lykins and Emily & Eric Bowell, sister, Jane Burkhardt, special friend of 51 years, Karen Alexander Kemper and family friends: Craig Schulte and Connie Johnson and numerous other family and friends. At the age of 7 Kathy contracted polio; she attended Gorman School and graduated from Julienne High School. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Jim Lehner and Dr. Glen Kwiat who took great care of Kathy through out the years and a special thank you to the entire staff at Hospice of Dayton especially Dr. Ruth Thomson for the wonderful care this year of Jerry, Kathy and the family. The family will receive friends Friday, February 27th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 28th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
