Kathy J. Haddox, age 61, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 12, 1963, in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Wilmur and Bonnie (Shaffer) McGuire. She married Steven Scott Haddox, who preceded her in death on December 10, 2018.
Kathy is survived by her son, Steven A. (Cassandra) Haddox of St. Marys; and seven cherished grandchildren, Kaden, Elliot, Steven Jr., Christian, Miranda, Meghan and Lilliana.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Melissa Jo Searles, and by several brothers and sisters.
Kathy retired after 35 years of dedicated service to Briarwood Manor in Coldwater, where she took great pride in caring for others. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and deep love for her family—especially the time she spent with her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys, 1175 E. Greenville Rd, with Pastor Bob Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
