Kathy Lynne Norman Huffines, 64, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
A graveside inurnment will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Phil Surrett officiating.
Kathy was born in Rockingham County to the late, David Norman and Faye Norman. She was a loving daughter who cared about her family and friends. She enjoyed reading fiction, summertime and sunshine. She enjoyed her music and trips to the beach as well.
She worked in school food service for an extended amount of her work life that continued into other areas of work, where she formed close relationships around those she worked with
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaylen Huffines.
Kathy is survived by her children, David Huffines (Patita) and Kristin Huffines; granddaughter, Gracy Huffines along with a loving group of extended family and friends.
