Kathy A. Lively

Kathy A. (Nocus) Lively, 63, passed away unexpectedly at home in Knoxville on July 15, 2022.
She is predeceased by her husband, Timothy Lively, parents, Bob and Eva Nocus, mother-in-law Nancy Lively, and brother-in-law Tom Lively. Left to cherish her memory are her son Ethan, sisters, Teri Nelson (Larry), Joni Weeks (Eric), and Tracy Richards (Mark), father-in-law Wilfred Lively, siblings-in-law Pam Lively, Tony (Kellee), Mark (Malecia), John (Suzanne), and Leann Borden(Richard), sisters by choice Ala Montgomery, Karen Micheletta, Lila Holt, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Growing up in Rockville, IN she was a Girl Scout, played clarinet in the band, and was a member of the Rockville Christian Church. She attended Johnson Bible College, where she met Tim. A devoted Boy Scout and band mom, she supported all of Ethan's extra-curricular activities. She had a successful career as a facilities manager at the Oak Ridge National Lab.
Family celebrations were incomplete without her scrapbooks, custom greeting cards, and she was the family calligrapher because of her beautiful handwriting. Her loving spirit lives on in the crafts and jewelry she made, which she shared freely. Words cannot adequately express the strength and compassion she shared with family and friends. She gave from the heart.
There will be a Celebration of life on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 6:30 pm EST with receiving of family and friends following. The service will be held at West Towne Christian Church, 9300 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37931. The service will be live-streamed at follow-jesus.org/lively In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Rose Mann Funeral, 6200 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN. 37919. A basket for cards and contributions will also be available at the service.
