Mrs. Kathy Gwen Parker Nash, age 71, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on December 3, 2023. She was born May 1, 1952 to the late Homer Calvin Parker and Mary Margaret Ray in Lafayette, TN.
She worked and retired as a school bus driver, and also worked for Continental Trailways and Greyhound Transport Company. She was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Nash; her daughter, Margaret Lee Hall; her brothers, Joe Calvin Parker and Herman Parker; and her sisters, Nettie Irene Bratton, Joyce Elaine Davis and Velma Dean Slayton.
She is survived by her son, Johnny (Cheryl) Hall; her grandchildren, Caitlin (Jake) Cravens, Lauren Wilson (Chris Palmer), Nicholas Hall and Hunter Hall; her great-grandchildren, Asher Wilson, Gunnar Wilson, Collier Wilson and Bodhi Cravens; and her siblings, Jimmy Parker, Ethel (Tat) Lackey, Paul (Marci) Parker, Marie Vanhooser and Jackie (Tammy) Parker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nash will be conducted Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Franklin, KY. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 5th from 10AM till 5PM at Woodard Funeral Home and again on Wednesday, December 6th from 10AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
