Kathy Ann Spaulding 78 passed away November 25, 2025. She was born February 13, 1947, to the late Ernest Eugene Harper and Lucinda Faye Haper in Paintsville, K.Y.

A devoted wife, mom, grandma, and sister. A devout follower in Christ. She loved her family and church family. She always put her family first, always had a kind word to say and had always been a hard worker. The kind of love Kathy and Carlos had was a once in a lifetime kind of love. There is no better example of love and grace than her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her eldest son, Bernie Spaulding, father Ernest Harper, mother Faye Harper, brother Paul Harper and Timmy Harper.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband Carlos Spaulding Sr., Children Mike (Amy) Spaulding, Carlos Spaulding Jr. and daughter Melissa (David) Wilson. Her three grandchildren Corbin Spaulding, Katir Wilson, and Kasey Wilson. Her brother Jimmy (Brenda) Harper, Garry (Eda) Harper, Tommy (Gloria) Harper and sister Linda (Billy) Chapman. Many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Chute-Wiley Funeral 118 S. Jackson St. New Lexington, Ohio 43764 Wednesday December 3, 2025, from 11a.m to 1p.m with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the New Lexington cemetery.
